It is with great sadness to learn that Martin passed away on 29 November. My paternal grandfather and Marin's maternal grandparents attended the same Sunday School in London. Our two families remained in close contact over more than a century. Martin and I carried this strong friendship forward all through our adult lives. Martin is going to be sorely missed. He has been remarkable in his achievements and has never failed to be good company.
